Family Memories
In 1907 Walter purchased land at Youanmite from J T Collier where they farmed and built their home "Orange Grove" in 1916 at a cost of 420 Pound.
Agent for Studebaker cars, Federal Manure and Yorkshire Insurance and Douglas motorcycles.
Walter was a member of the Katandra Gun Club and keen apiarist. He was a good shearing, he could shear by hand one hundred sheep per day.
